B. BAKER 06/16/22 – On behalf of our late mother (Justine Gantt), her children and her extended family, we thank you for providing top level services during a distressful and heartbreaking time. Through difficult moments, where clarity and direction may have been uncertain, Mr. Alexander did not take advantage of our vulnerability. At times we felt helpless having not been in this position before but Don and staff were careful not to encroach upon the sensitivity of the situation. Throughout the process he gave us assurances and honored his word. They provided a complete list of services with a thorough explanation to help guide us through this process step by step. There was both sympathy and empathy displayed towards us. Alexander Funeral Home provided additional information, encouragement, sympathy cards and acknowledgements. I’m an only child but my cousin and I were responsible for my dad’s services and they were soooooo patient with us. Brother Richard Deloach was my minister at Carver Heights Church of Christ in Leesburg for 29 years. He was a devout Christian and minister to our congregation. He will be missed. Reality has not set in, I’m still waiting for him to show up on Wednesday night for Bible study or Sunday worship services. He will be truly missed and express my condolences to the family.
